Since first opening its doors in 1996, Silverdale Shopping Centre has been a familiar part of everyday life for the local community. In 2025, after years of planning and hard work, the centre was completely rebuilt and proudly reopened on 9 August — bigger, brighter, and ready to welcome a new generation of shoppers.

This transformation is the vision of local resident and long-time community supporter, Bruno Loprieato, who has called Silverdale home since 1986. Determined to create a place where locals could shop, connect, and thrive, Bruno led one of the largest private investments in Wollondilly, bringing over 400 jobs to the region.

Today, with 8,000 square metres of retail space, 468 parking spaces, and a vibrant mix of stores, services, and dining, Silverdale Shopping Centre is more than just a place to shop — it’s a place where neighbours meet, families gather, and the community grows together.
